Growing Bunch of Paper

If you could be a bit more specific I’m sure some one can get you on the right track.
Do you want it to grown from below up like a pillar or falling from above to make up a heap etc.?

You can use Particular for that, but as the previous poster mentioned- what kind of animation you want to achieve? A bit more specific – an example from YouTube maybe would help.

Hey,

yeah – sry. Here some more specific details:

The paper money shall fall down from the top of the window onto the ground. There it should stay and a little “mountain” should develope. (let’s say about 50 pieces of paper money)
It should be different pieces of paper money. (10$, 50$ etc.)

I don’t have an example from youtube – sorry.

I believe I saw a tutorial on the web that uses our product FreeForm in conjunction with Particular to this kind of thing with money. In a nutshell, you would create an animation in a pre-comp with the FreeForm on a scan of you favorite currency then use that sequence as a Particle in Particular. Do a Google search for the tutorial.

Thanks a lot for this – I just have one problem: I want the money to fall down onto a bunch papermoney. And this “mountain” shall slightly get higher and higher the more money is falling down to it.

I think I have to cheat this, eh?!

Yes. – you would control that part of the effect in Particular.
