    I’m getting green slug and can’t get rid of it.
    Not even sure how it appeared.
    Appears on output both canvas and viewer monitors and before and after render.

    Running FCP 5.1.2 on a dual 2.7 G5 running OS 10.4.8

    delete prefs and restart

    Might be that your clip is corrupt. Look at that clip in the finder level. Is it OK? Does it play in QT player? If not, your clip is corrupt and your only choice is to redigitze. If it plays OK in QT, then try Charlie’s suggestion: new pref’s and restart.

    Remember to set the scratch disk correct before you start FCP
