Green screen question
Hi,
I have just bought a package from Virtual Set Labs that I like.
In some of their backgrounds, a “TV Screen” swings in. If I want to put video on the screen, do I have to program in the changes to the dimension of the video I’m popping in to track the changing dimensions of the screen during the swing in and out?

From what you’re saying, what you’re wanting to do is track and corner pin the inserted video. Motion can do it or you’ll need a plugin like maybe TrackX to do it in FCPX.

Build it once in Motion (pretty simple, the tracker does all the work) and you can export it into FCPX and save it to re-use any time with new material to fill the screen.
