    Hi there,

I have some footage that I have captured on a Z7 (M2T files). I have then encoded them to apple pro res using Mpeg Streamclip and then keying it in final cut. This seems to be a slow process and was wondering what the best process is. Can i put the prores files into After Effects and export. The final file format doesnt have to be HD.
Anyones help on this would be massively appreciated!!!
    Thanks

The rendering in final cut is slow and converting to pro res from mpeg streamclip. Is this the right process to follow?

Sounds like you’re doing fine, compositing isn’t exactly the fastest of all processes. Are you asking about keying in AE?

Yeah was wondering whether it was better to import pro res files into ae then use keylight and export. But is animation codec only one that will work with transparency?
