I’m trying to get my logos and graphics to fit perfectly into a 16×9 project and they’re all coming into FCP 5 squished left to right – they are not filling in the whole sequence in the canvas window. I’ve tried every combination in PS I can think of – 853×480 square, 853×480 1.2, 640×480 1.2, 720×480 1.2, etc . . .

I also checked my sequence settings and set it to 720×480 ntsc dv, 3:2, 16×9 anamorphic box checked. And, I also clicked the “Load Sequence Preset” button in the bottom right corner and selected the “DV NTSC 48khz Anamorphic” setting to make sure I set my sequence right and I still cannot get the graphics to come in right.

    FCP 5, Dual 2.7 G5, 4.5GB ram.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Solved . . . In Photoshop – 853×480 Square Pixels.

Color Grading presets for After Effects, Premiere, etc., plus free presets and more.
