graphics card and FCP Studio 2
hi all…
I’m going to finally upgrade to FCP Studio 2. My current gfx card has 64mb of VRAM which is not enough to drive the apps and it’s really doggin’ in 3D.
I’m thinking of getting the ATI Radeon X1900 MAC Edition for G5..I would like some opinions from those of you with experience with this card or maybe you have some other cards you like.Thanks!

The x1900 is a PCIe graphics card. I don’t think your Mac has PCIe slots. You need an x800 card for an AGP slot.

Before I move to MACPro, this is going to be the last bit of hardware I will buy for this system. Thanks…It was hard to find, but I found the card (ATI X800 XT AGP) at B & H photo/video and bought it. They have a number in stock if you care to let anyone else know who is in my situation.
