    Hey folks,

This might be old news, but I just want to be sure. I’m still using a power pc g5 with dual 1.8 ghz and running my base geforce 5200 card. I’m trying to upgrade my card to handle fxfactory plugins as well as the new motion 3d stuff but am finding out I am severely restricted as most cards nowadays are pci-x and the 5200 is agp. Does it matter? Why can’t I just use an available pci slot I have for a new card? Why does it have (or better) to be an AGP?

I will eventually upgrade to an intel quad, but my pc is still working great and I’d like to just beef up the card a bit. Can someone help me with the real deal, problems, issues, suggestions, hell, even what card will work with my system?

    thanks again.

    Rick
