Gradient tool removed?
Hey everyone,
I have photoshop CC. I used to use the gradient tool quite a bit. After one of the updates, it has disappeared. Is there another way I can apply a gradient to an image (made the edges of it fade into the background color). Also, why did Adobe get rid of a tool that was so useful?

The tools palette was reworked (in a non-productive fashion) in recent versions. Look in the pop-up menu at the end (under last tool at bottom right) of the tools palette, the rest of the tools are stashed away there.
Or, much more straightforward, press G on the keyboard.
