gradient pattern wipe transitions
I have been working on a video that will presented across 4x 1920×1080 screens. using a combination of Red 4k & dvcprohd anyway, I have been using the sapphire wipe cells, which produce a nice pattern grad wipe.
The client loved the effect but wants a custom pattern which is part of their logo something similar to the gucci pattern, I have a pdf of the pattern which I have opened in photoshop to save as psd, it has transparent background. Now what is the best way that I can create a nice gradient transition similar to the sapphire wipe, it basically grad wipes into black with the pattern as a travel matte.
I know theres an easy solution but my brain is not functioning like it should. If there was more budget , I would get a motion graphics designer in but with deadline looming, I need to work this out.Cheers , any help would be much appreciated!
