Gradient following path with interpolation palette off.
Hello, quite new here and a bit desperate hahahaha. I wanted to ask for help, still new with after effects.
I am trying to create a gradient following a path I drawn, the closest I made was using the 4 point gradient but I don’t want the blending to happen so it looks more funky. The effect is available in colorama but not in the 4 point gradient.
Is there any way to apply that disabling function in a 4 point gradient?

You can apply Colorama after your 4-color gradient to funk it up. You could also use the Posterize effect to limit the total number of colors.

I think I already did 4 point gradient with colorama together. Somehow colorama replaces the 4 point gradient and when used to follow a path, the gradient from colorama doesn’t follow it fully. My shape is like the capital letter ‘U’ with no gaps in between. That may also have affected the colorama gradient somehow.
So far the only method that truly works, but a bit tedious is creating many layer, 1 for each color with their own adjusted path accordingly.
