Is this 3 months? Does Adobe tell you what it is. We bought CS5.5 about 2 months ago and it seems wrong to have to pay for CS6 so soon afterwards.

If you purchased before March 26, 2012, I believe you are out of luck. Here’s Adobe’s FAQ on the topic:

Contact your vendor. Adobe has changed the policy a bit. They had an early push that required you to update to CS5.5 or NO CS6 upgrade was possible. Now, Adobe has removed that limitation. In other words, your vendor should get you CS6 for free.

If I am close to NAb I never buy anything specialy software because almost always happened is what happend to you. Sony,Adobe and others usualy announce upgrades at NAb. But if I really needed it badly then I would have had to buy before.
Hope it works out for you.

I bought 2 seats of CS 5.5 in december, but I don’t mind
paying the $ 375 each for CS 6, since I got CS 5.5 with the 50% off
    move from fcp offer.
