    Hi

I’m working on a project where a moving background (.mov) also needs to be used as a still.

What’s my best workflow to maintain highest quality for the still?

    Many thanks for any suggestions,

    Maria

Load the original BG into QT Player (that’s it’s highest quality) and use the export feature (you find “still” when you hit the option button).

    What’s your source material?

    Hi

Source material is a PAL QT of an animated iStock background.

    Thanks,

    Maria

You could also do this in Motion.

Might make for a bit higher quality file than QT.

Thanks very much for the responses, both the QT and Motion exports work very well.
