GPU for fast rendering
Hello! Recently I have checked a lot of info about videocards and sony vegas. Before bying new card, I would like to be 100% sure it will work.
So, I know gtx 600+ wont help to render fast. Also I need strong enough GPU for capturing my PC footage.
Would R7/R9 380/370 use GPU and help to render faster in Sony Vegas? Is there any problems with opencl like with cuda in 600+ nVidia?

The latest R9 series work well with Vegas Pro providing that your CPU is powerful enough to keep the GPU busy and PCIe bus has enough bandwidth to transfer the data quickly. It’s all about having a balanced system. Just buying a better GPU doesn’t always make things as fast as it could. Sometimes it just moves the bottleneck to the next slowest component in your system.

No problems at all. Vegas Pro is based on OpenCL so it prefers good OpenCL cards which is why AMD Radeon is better than proprietary NVIDIA cards for Vegas Pro.

Can you please suggest good CPU for this GPUs?

The current crop of Intel i7 processors are great.
STAY AWAY from AMD CPUs, as they are quite poor for video editing.

Yea, I would get an Intel i7 and a motherboard with PCI Express 3.0 to keep up with the Radeon R9 3xx Series of cards.
