Got my self in a real head spin 60i and 25p in the same time line can it work?
Ok I will try and explain this as best I can.
I have used two cameras for a kids xmas play and I got the settings mixed up (im an idiot).
The first camera (nex ea50e)shot in 1080/25p
The second (hxr mc2000e)in 1080/60iIm using vega pro 12
The project settings are matched to the nex clips at 25pFirstly when I look at the properties for the 60i clips in project media it tells me the frame rate is 25 (pal) but im not sure that can be right, as the hxr dosnt do 25fps as I found out from the manual?
When I rendered it the shots from the nxr looked really bad but they looked fine in vegas.
I used the DVD Architect PAL Widescreen Video Stream setting.Is the film ruined or can I save it? Im very new to all this I can use a camera to get creative good looking shots but this side of things is really baffiling me.
I have been searching around for answers but im not sure if ive found the correct ones or if I have I havnt understood them.

Right-click on all of the events that contain the 60i footage and go to the Properties and check Disable Resample. This should make the 60i footage play back at 25fps without any frame blending. See if this makes it look any better.

I’ve used a Canon hfr40 and a Gopro to make my film @ 29.97fps. Project was rendered using powerdirector12 to h264 at about 25mbps. I’m now trying to use sony premier pro to burn to blue ray since I wasn’t happy with pd12 ‘ s setup. Having a hard time getting the final disc to look right. It’s dropping frames basically. What are your recommendations for burn settings- file format, mpeg2 or avc? 60i or 24p? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Premiere Pro is from Adobe. Vegas Pro is from Sony. I assume you meant Vegas Pro because that’s the forum you posted to. If you really meant Premiere Pro you’re on the wrong forum.

If you your source is 29.97 fps you should render to 60i. It doesn’t matter if you use MPEG2 or AVC for Blu-ray as long as you use one of the DVD Architect Blu-ray templates.
