    I’d say: get the old version. Even though it will become out of stock, someone will always sell the previous model second hand. Go get it!

    Well, the thing is I already had a DOP in here who just bought DaVinci to play around with his Alexa shots on set.
    He then sent me his project file and when the client dropped by it took me half an hour to prepare the session.
    Ok Blackmagic, the ball is in your field now.
    Team up with Cubix or someone, make a portable extension for one Quadro FX4000 and count me in as the first buyer.

    as apple web states thunder bolt is somewhat pci e so it does not seem impossible to me.
