Hi all, I’mm looking to migrate from Media-100 to FCP sometime in the future.

I thought a good idea would be to obtain some training materials ( a real book) with a DVD companion.

My primary reason is to know what to expect and what the differences would be compared to my comfort level with the good old Media-100.

My work is mostly even type projects with multiple cams, so aspects of cutting between two timelines, audio capabilities are my primary interests. My hope would be to get a grip on work flow, and speed/ease of use knowing that the interface is probably going to be different. Old habits are hard to break!

Any recommendations on specific tutorials or training aids that I might keep an eye out for on places like Ebay…

    thanks

Jerry Hofmann’s book is outstanding. I’m pretty sure there’s a link to it in the Dairy store. You can also find it on Amazon, just type in his name as a search.
