good noise gate for audition
Hey guys, I have 8 iso tracks recorded from a panel discussion to 8 channel recorder. I want to attach a gate to each of the tracks so I can bounce it down to a stereo track for use in video editing. Is there a built in gate or do you recommend a good plug in. (I have a bit of experience with audition but my primary audio editing system is abelton live 8. Thanks.

There are a couple of possibilities in Audition – one is to use the Dynamics Processing effect – the other is to use the Speech Volume Leveler effect, and find Noise Gate under Advanced Settings:
