    Hi Everybody,

I have to finish soon a project shot on Sony EX-1 in HD.
I will work on my MacBook Pro 17inch. Want to connect external HD Computer Monitor.
Which one is a good reliable Model – not too crazy expansive.
I heard a lot of good things about the Dell’s?!?

    Advice appreciated!

    Greetz,

    Sascha

Is this for video monitoring or for more UI screen real estate?

    User Interface…more computer screen.

If that’s so, the dell’s are just fine.

And what would be the cheapest and easiest solution, for some reliable video Monitoring during online & colour grading?
Connecting a monitor of a DV-Deck over FireWire will not work with HD.
Is the Matroz the cheapest solution around?

Matrox product out of your MacBook Pro to an FSI 1760W. (Flanders Scientific 1760W). Yellow banner along the left side of this forum. We have four of their monitors in our shop now. Cheapest and best solution for Grade 1 color accurate monitoring for only $2,500 US.

The AJA ioExpress is pretty inexpensive. It connects through the express/34 slot on your MBP if you have one.

Yup, I do. Any idea how much that Express card would be?

    Thanx.
