According to Redsharknews, David Fincher’s “Gone Girl” is the first major Hollywood feature to be cut on Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC:
I guess time will tell whether Premiere Pro CC follows in the steps of Final Cut Pro (legacy) and becomes the second (after AVID) most used NLE in the industry.

seems imminent.
And we can thank Fincher for a lot of the 2014.1 improvements.
Any time I have to go back to FCP 7.x its so painful by comparison.

If Avid doesn’t change their R&D and player soon they wont be number 1 much longer.
