Going from a 29.97 fps project to 23.97
Hey everyone. I’m working with a bunch of historical footage that was shot in 24 fps and telecined to 29.97. My coworker suggested reverse telecining to make everything 24 fps and working in a 24 fps sequence, so if I were to do something like time-remapping, I wouldn’t get stuttering artifacts.
A few questions:
I know how to reverse telecine out of After Effects. Is there an easy way to do that in Premiere?
Is there an easy workflow for replacing all my footage with 24 fps footage?
Why does copying my sequence into a 24 fps timeline make everything look terrible? Thanks everyone!
