Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy Go to ProRes?

    Hello

I need to composite some 1920×1080 square pixel animations to DVCPRO HD 1080p24 footage. I’m concerned about the different pixel aspect ratios. On first glance everything looks fine, but I am wondering if I should render out the video to 1080p24 ProRes first. I have no access to a Kona card for this.

    Thanks,
    Dave

No need to do that. You see what you get after all, and when you put a clip into an DVCPROHD sequence, it becomes that…
