Global cornerpin effect on top of a mocha cornerpin track?
Hi, I am trying to comp a .psd of a thin rectangular picture into an HD shot of a mobile phone. I did a cornerpin track of the phone in mocha, but I couldn’t really track the corners where they should go on the final shot – though I roughly got the tracking data for most of the shot. I want to use this data, but I then want to apply an overall cornerpin effect to the thin rectangle and make any needed adjustments. How do I do this, while having the corners align with the actual borders of the thin rectangle? The only way I would know how to apply an overall cornerpin to a cornerpin track would be to precomp the mocha tacked shot and apply the cornerpin effect to the precomp – but the problem with this is that it makes it so that the corners of the new cornerpin are the 4 corners of the full resolution of the shot – not the 4 corners of the thin rectangle I want to comp. I really need manual control over the 4 corners of the thin rectangle, as I need to do some fine adjustments and it’s too hard to control using the four corners of the full resolution. I am not a terribly advanced After Effects User, so there are probably all sorts of workarounds I am not aware of. Does anyone have any advice for the best way to do this? Thanks.
