I have a 2 hour film shot in Anamorphic DV on a timeline in FCP. Each clip in the time line has it “distort” attribute set to “-33” for viewing on a SD 4:3 monitor. Now I want to output the entire film to it’s full 16:9 widescreen so I need to change every clip in the timeline’s attrbute to “distort 0”.

Is there a way to globally change attributes in FCP?

I’ve tried nesting to a new timeline but the clips retain there distortion.
I’ve tried changing the timeline’s settings but have the same problem.

    Help!

    Thanks

Just select every clip in the timeline…right click and select “remove attributes” then check distort.
