I have digitized a large quantity of HD1080i footage onto hard drives via my Mac book pro(2GB RAM),and now I realise that a lot of my footage has glitches in it every couple of seconds. The audio also progressively falls more and more out of sync. The tapes are fine and it played fine when I watched the footage digitizing.

Could these glitches be due to settings or my computer RAM speed? Any ideas?

What hard drive did you capture onto? Was it the internal drive?

I have digitized onto two external hard drives, one Lacie and one Mybook. It was shot in 1080i60, sorry.

I am working on the same system and have been having the same problems–and haven’t figured out how to solve the problem just yet.

What kind of glitches are you getting?

On some reels frames freeze for 5 seconds and then resume missing the next 5 frames, and this happens every 5-10 seconds. what about you?
