GLITCHES BOY DO I HATE GLITCHES ON PLAYBACK ON FCP5
HEY GUYS I HAVE FCP 5 RUNNING ON G5 DUAL 2.7 WITH 8GB RAM 4TERABYTES MEDEA VIDEO RAID RT3X, BLACK MAGIC DUAL LINK HD. AND I GET SMALL LINES OR GLITCHES WHEN PLAYBACK. DO I HAVE THE RIGHT VIDEO DRIVES I CAN’T AFFORD TO HAVE GLITCHES ON PLAYBACK. NOT TO HAPPY WITH SOFTWARE BASED STUFF…

I think you’ll need to give some more detail in order to get help on this.
Are these glitches on both computer and external monitor, or one or the other?
What are your sequence settings and what are your clip settings?
Also, what version of the DeckLink drivers are you running?Is there any chance you could post a example of the glitches you’re seeing?

Contact BMD with this problem, it’s most likely a video card problem.
