    Hey there,
Im primarily a photoshop user, but i thought id have more luck here.
I have an image and i want to make it look like a corrupted dv still i.e. you know if you shake/drop a video camera, the data can corrupt momentarily and have multicoloured squares appear and distort the image, shift a few lines in a matrix.
i hate it when in films, theyre using a digital camera/digital cctv (for example) on an abandoned spaceship and they find an old video entry and its all fuzzy and noisy and the sound is all warped…like its all analogue when its blatantly meant to be digital! in actuality, the sound would glitch and clip and jam with however many samples of audio thats in its buffer and the same with the video.
ive never been able to find anything about it on the internet and if you search google for corrupt file effects or glitch effects then it just returns tips on how to fix files!
    cheers for any help
    joe
