Glitch during effect – Avid Media Composer
I’m having a reoccuring problem when rendering effects – I have attached a still below that illustrates it. There’s a digital hit that only lasts a frame, that we’re seeing on clips that have an effect – we’ve seen it on color correction effects, as well as dissolves. Anybody know how to fix it? Clearing the renders, and then re-rendering, seems to fix some but not all. I’d kind of like to avoid it in the first place.

Hi Tom,
There were a few render related fixes added to the 6.0.3.2 release which is free for anyone using 6.x. I suggest you upgrade to that version which you can get off the DL center. If you want to wait a few days it might benefit you as we are soon to launch 6.0.3.3.
Otherwise I would look at where you are rendering the files too….. thats most likely the culprit.
