Giving up importation impossible?
Hello
I want ot hank everybody for trying to help me with my importation problem with a project from 6.5 to pro 1.5.
It was suggested that it might be the audio so I took a project copy and deleted everything including transitions leaving me with only video track 1 and audio track 1..it still would NOT open or import….
Looks like I will have to rebuild from scratch.
Questions:
Arent the color correction tools more powerful in pro.
Dont I need to have my project in pro if I want to encode in dolby surround?

The color correction tool are more powerful, but they are very render intensive. I would use Levels.
And yes Premiere pro has export options for that type of audio encoding.Andrew
