    Giving After Effects more RAM

    I’ve got a new MacPro with 12gig of RAM, but OSX only allows each app to utilize 4gig. Is there ANY way to give AE more of the unused RAM so that I can get longer RAM previews and such?

    Yes I have this enabled but my question is there anything in the operating system that can allow AE to use more of the 12 gigs. thanks for the help!
