    Before I go any further, I am not referring to inertial bounce.

    I’m sure this is just something very basic that I’ve missed, but is there an expression to give a layer some sort of momentum/drift to its movement? A good example of the style of movement I’m talking about is here: https://youtu.be/-kHqVAyGrV4

    If I try to keyframe an object to follow this movement, regardless of interpolation/keyframe assistant options I can’t replicate it simply. But maybe I’m using the wrong combinations?

    Getting that feel is all about using the graph editor. I’ve found this simulator pretty useful in translating motion into the shape of the curve that produces it.
