Gigabit PCI Card for Mac Pro G5
The onboard gig port on an old G5 of ours went out recently. We already had one pci gig card in there, a realtek, for the required second port for XSAN. Now I need another, but the realtek one goes for $200. Anyone know if I can use a cheaper one and if it will be compatible with the G5? I don’t really want to spend much on this, but it would be nice for some background tasks.
