  Getting the bucks for projects

  Good Day,

  I am looking for ideas from other professionals on ways to gather money for projects. Tell me your experiences and how well did you do.

  I have a great opportunity for a shoot and the other video person as well as a photographer got a private grant from a very rich family they know, for the first part of the project. I, on the other hand have no rich families so I am looking to raise money for the second part which I can be in total control of. The client is failing miserably on the marketing side and I have some great ideas. But I am not willing to turn them over for free.

  I can look locally but do not want to limit myself.

  Any thoughts or suggestions are always greatly appreciate.
