    Hi,

This is a long shot but..

Is there a way to get the position data from the points in a c4d mesh as they animate in the viewport out of the software in realtime?

I’m experimenting with realtime apps such as vvvv which can render a 3d obeject. I thought maybe there might be a script / plugin or something that could export mesh data from c4d to maybe a .xml file or an xfile, say 25 times a second.

If that could work then maybe I could also input into c4d some xyz tracker point data from vvvv and use c4d to do the IK and morphing on a mesh, and then export the mesh back to vvvv live. So c4d never renders, just does the real time morphing which it handles so smoothly, and vvv renders in realtime using the output data from c4d.
