  Getting in to web video…? about compression teks for FCP/QT project/file

  I have been doing broadcast video for years but am just now getting in to putting video on the web. I have just edited my first project in FCP…shot in HD and down converted to 4:3 but kept in WS with bars on top/bottom. Now, i have to get this same vid on the web. Should i re-export within FCP to a web format (which one?), use the QT file (43 GB, 32:00) i created in FCP and bring it in to Compressor for web-friendly conversion (which one) ordo something else i haven’t thought of? I would like to have the vid show up in 16:6 ration on teh web if possible. I will be posting on YTube, Facebook & on our website.

  I know this has been covered over and over, but i can’t get a specific resposne to my query by doing a search. Is there a specific forum or word grouping i should use to get a better search going?
