getting fcp 7 footage into an fcp 6 project
I edit in fcp 7 and did some shooting for a friend who edits in fcp 6. I’d like to cut my footage and then give her a drive with a project or at least mov files in a sequence that she can edit further. What do I need to do to so that she can open my project or timeline or sequence’s. I have compressor so I could changes in the compression. Any help would be appreciated.

Send the footage along with an XML of the timeline (select timeline and choose File > Export > XML and choose version 4). On their end, they would open a new project and choose Import > XML.
