So,am recording with my Canon Vixia HF G30, i insert the card in the computer (Windows 7), i download the content in a hard drive, i open avid composer 6, when i try yo import using either the AMA method or the non AMA method avid tells me that is not able to import the index.bdm files and the movieobj.bdm files, however, windows is able to open the stream folder that came inside the avchd folder and play the video in MPEG, can this be fixed?,

    Thanks for any guidance.

Depends on whether Canon makes am AMA plug-in that supports that particular camera. Have you downloaded all available Canon AMA plug-in and they are installed?
