    Hi, I know Resolve uses the GPU a lot but the CPU also matters. However, trying to work out if getting an AMD Ryzon 9 CPU is significantly better than a Ryzon 7. From what I can see there is a 5-10% difference, which is not really significant (especially considering the price difference). Ime looking at the Asus ROG G14. Want to be able to edit 4k, projects will not be masivly complex. Trying to decide between

    My main priority is smooth playback of footage before grading. Have people experience with any of these machines. Would the latter work well?

    The RTX 2060 will perform better than the 1660ti. Neither have enough VRAM to comfortably handle 4k files. The CPU differences are less consequential so given the similarity, I would get the better GPU.
