    Hi all,

As we all struggle to bring certain AI assets into AE, I’m bringing another to the table. We’re working with a new brand and I’ve received this effect from our design team that I’ve been asked to animate.

My initial idea was to use trims paths on a stroke over the top used as a matte to see it drawing on. Looks ok, but not as authentic as i’d like. I’d like to see those differences in the gradient evolve as the line animates in. My colleague is having a go with Trapcode Tao, but design specifically want this to still have the flat minimalist look without it being a 3D esc option.

Would love to see if you guys have any suggestions to how we’d pull this off
