  • Getting a black screen instead of a chroma key in ATEM?

    Hello,

I’ve been using ATEM Software Control switcher for about three years now without this issue. About a week ago we attempted to use the chroma key live (as opposed to doing it in post) for the first time in a while and we only got a black screen. Lots of different attempts were made, but I only got a black screen when I hit the “On Air” button. Until I do that, I get the feed from the camera just fine. Below are the settings that normally work, although like I said, it’s been a while and I might have something wrong:Hello,

Swapping the Program button selected (Canon camera is Cam6) and the Fill Source doesn’t do it, nor does setting both to the camera. However, setting both to MP1 at least gives me the Media Player image.

My colleague who set up the studio and switcher is convinced that it’s a setting in ATEM that we have wrong, but I would guess that there’s a cable plugged in wrong somewhere.
