    Hello all:

Okay, I’ve got some footage shot on the HVX200 at 24p over 60. I want to extract the 24p frames only, and create 23.98 QT files to cut with (to match with other HVX footage shot at 24pN). I’ve tried the FRC, and it doesn’t work (adds duplicate frames every 5 frames and changes the duration of the shot accordingly…). I’ve upgraded to 5.1.1 and checked off the ‘remove extra frames’ option in the P2 import box — it doesn’t work. I’ve tried Cinema Tools, nothing works there. At this point, the only other thing I can think of, is to cut the 59.94 footage, output to a Panny 1200a deck, and re-import at 23.98 with my Kona 2 set to discard the extra frames. Will this work? Any better suggestions?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Best, JIM.
