Get rid of Adobe Media Player
Kind of out topic, but anyone know how to get rid of adobe media player?
I tried to set to open my video files by VLC player, but everytime I set,
and next time I open my computer, the files become opened by adobe media player again.This happens also when I tried to open my Quicktime files by QT7 instead of QTX
Just wonder if there is any method to lock the applications for opening files? thanks!

there may be a preference within adobe media player that disables that feature….but i haven’t heard of any way to get media to open in qt7 if qtx is installed. if you don’t want to use qtx, just uninstall it, you don’t really need qtx. i’m not aware of anything that qtx does that qt7 doesn’t (aside from frameless windows with rounded corners).
i suppose you could try removing adobe media player too, however i’m not sure if other adobe apps are using it for viewing media…
