  Get 640×424 to 720×480

  Hello again,
  Just a frustration with these digital cameras. My cam has 3 available output sizes: 1920×1080, 1280×720, and 640×424. Why the last set I haven’t a clue! Seems stupid. Nevertheless….
  I’d like to produce a short 1-2 minute video at a 4:3 format, at the standard NTSC 720×480 size (NTSC 30fps).
  When I do this in Vegas (shooting at 640×424 & trying to edit at a Vegas preset 720×480) it letterboxes a bit of horizontal black at the top and the bottom by filling the frame(because it has people’s faces in it.) The reason for the size being important is that I’m having some fun with “green screen” and while I don’t mind stretching the “background” I don’t want to stretch or warp the greenscreen part.
  Is there a magic to do this “right?”
