Generating C++ graphics to QuickTime files for AE
I’m not really sure where to post this so I figured I’d start here. I just watched a breakdown video and I noticed some C++ code (or Java) that generated shapes and random lines with a ton of If/else commands. I used to program Basic and C++ many decades ago. I saw PDE files that were processed. I’m not sure of the workflow here.
Question 1: What Mac program can generate graphics through programming languages (tried TextMate and Sublime).
Question 2: How can you capture the animation generated through the language and save it as a QuickTime file?Again, this is an odd question and could be out of place. I appreciate any resources or help to research this technique. The video breakdown was an Ash Thorp video. https://vimeo.com/118998266
