I am working with Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 and when I insert generated media or text media the edit box appears fine but the style and properties, etc. are not editable. Basically when I open the edit box, and want to edit the text items in the Sony Credit Roll for example, there is no slider or ability to grab the editing tools (the box expands by draging the edges out, but the screen is empty on the portions of the box that weren’t visible when the box was first opened. I have downloaded the Sony Vegas Pro 9 and Sony HD and am having the same issue. Can anyone offer some solution? It would be very very much appreciated. I have spent countless hours with Sony tech support and they can’t come up with a solution. I am working on a Dell Vostro 420, with Vista and Microsoft Home Preimum. I have run the program prior to this and didn’t have any issues – it just started happening after I did a complete system restore. I have done a clean reinstall of the sony softward several times.

Can you give us a Screen Grab of what you are looking at? Before I say anything further I’d at least like to actually see what you are getting – yeah? It could help alot.

Sorry, I am pretty new to this…I thought I added it by selecting the little camera icon above here and selecting the screen shot. I will try again. I see I didn’t click once on the image. See if this comes through. Thanks!

Just try again: click on the upload button.
    Upload the image.
Select the image in your list op uploaded files.
Copy the EMBED link and past that into your reply.
    That should work.

    Woah! That’s nasty.

That’s something seriously wrong with either your install, your graphics card memory . . . I have NOT seen that B4?? I can see that half of the “drawn” menu is missing.

Have you sent this to SONY?

I have spent countless hours sending this to sony. They have no idea…and it takes days to get responses from them on the support thread. Do you have any thoughts? This issue only compounds the problem I had prior with the program freezing up and/or shutting down. It would also tell me that I don’t have enough memory – which doesn’t seem correct. I have a brand new Dell Vostro running Windows Vista Home Premium with 500GB Hard Drive 4GB RAM, it should be sufficient to run the vegas program.

Can you give me any info on checking my graphics card memory? I’ve tried everything else from the sony end, perhaps it’s something in my system.

Have you sent SONY this screengrab?

    Grazie
