    Hi!

I have several parented in a chain layers. I need to export path for the last child layer in a chain. Is there any way to generate keyframes for every frame for position and rotation properties of that layer in relation to comp?

Haven’t actually done that specific thing, but in theory, adding the expression “value” to those two properties, then using “expression to keyframes” would do it. Whether it will be in the world coordinate system is a different story. You may need to use toWorld expression for the values.

    Hi, Kalle

Thanks for your help. It is exactly what I need.
    I used expression from
    https://podcasts.creativecow.net/after-effects-tutorials-podcast/child-tracking-part-1
    for position property.
And used a sum of all parent rotations for rotation property.
Than applied “expression to keyframes” and it worked!

There’s this handy little script for that from @aescripts – https://aescripts.com/bake-parented-transform/
