Generate Audio Waveform
ARG! Generate Audio Waveform does nothing!
I can not seem to get this effect to do anything and I can not find a tutorial or forum posting regarding this. It seems straight forward. I have an audio layer and I have applied the effect but nothing happens. On one Adobe site it claims I have to Pre Comp the audio so I did. Same result. Nothing.
Any tips?

Apply the effect to a solid and set the audio layer property in the effect to be your audio layer. Is that what you’re doing?
