    HELP!

We were working in FCP 4.5, to temporarily move to another suite we duplicated the project (knowing that the other suite is running FCP 5.0 and it would upgrade it), took the media to the other suite and did a screening for the client, but now when we bring back the media and try to access it with the original 4.5 project we get a General Error 34 message. None of the sequences will even load.

So far we have trashed the preferences and the render files and checked to see if any of the media reads as 0k. Nothing has helped.

    Thank you in advance.

You most likely still have a media file problem sounds like. Only way to check is putting it in another folder and reconnecting just a few at a time.

If the sequences don’t open with all of the media offline, then you have a corrupted project file, otherwise it’s most likely media. If the project file is corrupted, you’ll need to open a backup or autosave file.

Thank you Jerry, some of the media was corrupt and some was gone. All is good again.
