    garbage matte invert for premiere pro CS5.5

    Hello,

    I was wondering if there was an Invert function for the Garbage Matte. I am exploring Premiere and have not been able to find it yet.

    Any luck?

    I too am exploring PP and cannot find an invert option for the garbage matte. I know i can do it in AE, but that seems like a big, extra step for something so simple.

    I tend to use a Title and shape tool to draw out the Mask then use the Track Matte Effect on the clip I want to mask, and point to the track with the title on it (over the clip) with settings on Alpha, then I can hit the track matte invert to invert the matte.
