May 28, 2018 at 1:20 amI’m building out a selects reel to send off to some one. I’m inserting gaps between clips and of course with the option w command , the default gap is 3 seconds. I’d like these gaps to be 15 frames. Is there a way to change the default gap inserted by option W, OR is there a way to select al the gap clips and ctrl D them and effect a gang duration change from 3 seconds to any other duration?

May 28, 2018 at 6:19 amYou can’t change the default length but you can select them in the Timeline Index, make the timeline window active, then Ctl-D to set the new length of all of them at the same time..

May 28, 2018 at 11:06 amYep that works. Before I posted I did use the time line index to select all the gaps and was a bit faked out by the indication I had selected 3:43:15 worth of material . That result was the gaps plus the clips in between which seemed odd. That said, altering the duration of 12 gaps in one shot works like a charm.
