Posted by Darin Wooldridge on September 12, 2010 at 4:20 amHappy to report no gamma shifting regardless of the render choice.

September 19, 2010 at 2:02 amEven in different codecs? DPX, prores, uncompressed,… they all look same after render and reviewing in FCP?

September 19, 2010 at 2:43 amAll renders were very close however h264 did need some help during the render pass. I will do more testing and perhaps post some examples if I get the time.

September 19, 2010 at 1:32 pmYou mean H264 as input codec and output codec. If you do H264 input, grade and render out ProRes does it OK? I do not know why I would render H264 out of Resolve, but still it is an option.

September 21, 2010 at 4:02 amGood Day Teo,
H264 can be used for a quick window burn conform check file or perhaps strait to web. We are being asked to make them.I need to do some more testing but didnt see anything crazy as an input source file.

September 21, 2010 at 2:27 pmMy testing matches. All codecs seem to render out spot on except for H264. H264 adds green to the picture.
